Organization Knowledge Network Model And Its Applications

Knowledge Management(KM) has become a hot research topic both in academic and in enterprise application.In KM researches,a systemic organizing of knowledge in an organization is a primary and basic step.As network is an effective tool to model a complex system,there could also be a network structure to model the knowledge system of an organization and describe the knowledge and their relations.This dissertation focuses on the construction and application of knowledge network model.Firstly,among KM researches in recent years,two major clues are presented.One is conduct researches from the view of management,and the other clue takes emphasis on the management of information.However,it doesn't work well to follow one clue singly,thus, organizing enterprise knowledge considering both explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge and integrating management of information with management of individuals,as well as combining KM with BPM(Business Process Management),are key issues to be solved in KM research. Based on this,an idea of using knowledge network as a KM fusing tool based on the analysis of KM researches is proposed.Secondly,a knowledge network model and its applications are researched.The network model can be divided into four layers:business process,explicit semantic relation,tacit skill relation and social relation,and consisted of two kinds of knowledge carriers(document,person) and five sorts of relations.Thirdly,some methods to solve technical problems in model construct and application in practice are issued.They are term extraction and documents similarity measurement based on ontology,social relation similarity measurement and knowledge push algorithm based on business process and knowledge network model.RH Hospital,a knowledge-intensive organization,is chosen to conduct an empirical research.From the construction and applications of the knowledge network in the RH Hospital,this knowledge network model can fulfill different knowledge demands.Especially, experiment results show the knowledge push based on the knowledge network model is effective.All these pave a brand new way for organizing and representing knowledge in an organization.
