Application Study Of Lean Production In M Company

As a modern production management methodology,Lean Production has been recognizing and implementing in more and more companies all over the world.Through focusing on the waste elimination,cost reduction,quality and flexibility improvement,the companies are able to create and maintain the competitive advantage in the marketing.As China is now becoming the world manufacture economic center,Lean Production is the one of the best options for the company management.M Company is a plastics enterprise since it came into China in 2005,and the products are made-to-order according to the various demands.The company needs more flexibility and efficiency to match their rapid increasing product types and amount.Through implementing the Lean Production,eliminating waste and empowering workers,reduced inventory and improved productivity.Therefore,the company is able to respond faster to market demands than its competitors could,and improve the profit ability and the competitive power.At the beginning of this thesis,it brought in the research background and purpose, introduced the origins and development of Lean Production,and gave the explanation of Lean concepts and principles,the study states in China and overseas,discussed the current problems as well.Also this thesis did a research and study of production management in M company,from the product design,manufacture,and process,inventory and so on. According to the methods of lean production such as value steam anapping,TPM and so on, the author worked out the improvement program and took it into action in M company. Through the results of implement achieved in M Company,the thesis proved the Lean Production was a good guide for company to eliminate the waste and focus resources in a more flexible and effective manner.
