With the development of industry transformation, globalization has brought s erious challenge to SMT equipment manufacturers: periodic demand, longer time for production cycle, complex product configuration and cost pressure. It is an o rdeal for operation management, production delivery and quality.This article attempts through the value stream mapping to analyze the enterp rise’s value stream deeply, combined with the intra-company operation status quoto make value stream current mapping and value stream future mapping to findthe waste. Then according to the improving target to make and implement the corresponding and feasible solutions, to develop the process of operation manage ment toward ideal situation. And evaluate the effect of the implementation of co untermeasure, measure the benefits brought by value stream mapping to the com pany.This paper used the drawing steps of value stream mapping to describe the chaotic information flow and material flow. First, use Pareto 80/20 principle to s elect the most valuable research object. Second, identify the requirement of this object from the client. Third, draw up the process flow chart according to this o bject’s process. Finally, map out the whole value stream current mapping and def ine the value-added parts and non-value-added parts. Analyze the value stream c urrent mapping and map out the value stream future mapping based on the leanproduction. Then according to the difference between these two kinds of value stream mapping to implement relevant improvement scheme. Focused on the use of relevant tools of lean production and MRD replenishment system, 2 BIN mate rial management and other supermarket pull management to improve the existingoperation process. The final conclusion is based on oriented value stream mapping in lean production, not only made the company production line balance rate i ncreased by 30.6%, the production efficiency increased by 11%, but also make t he production delivery time reduced by 65%, product valve-added time dropped by 16.8%, provided referenced scheme for product process optimization of simila r industry.
