As the global economic growth is slowing down, the competition between enterprises is increasing constantly. Two critical parts decide the enterprise operation performance – increasing market share and saving costs. Open source often require enterprises to invest a lot of money for research and development of a new generation of products, so as to attract consumers to achieve the goal of increasing market share. Cost saving is easier between two parts, because for many manufacturing enterprises, they have problems of long delivery lead time to customer, big costs caused by heavy components stock, unstable product quality, low efficiency production and so on. These problems can be significantly improved in a short time period through introduction Lean Production system, through which the enterprises can narrow the cost of waste and improve enterprise market reaction speed, thus improve the competitiveness and profitability of the enterprise.Under the recession economy environment and limited internal research capability, increasing market share is not a realistic goal to accomplish in short time. This article will follow the direction of cost saving, which chooses the ALR product(Auto-Locking Retractor) of AS company as the main research object, using the lean production theory and value stream analysis method, to conduct a thorough investigation, analysis and improvement on all activities from ordering components to the final delivery to customer.After collection and tidy of customer requirement, information flow and logistics information of the whole process, the current value stream map can be drawn, through which we can analyze and find the problem, and then set goals to improve and draw future value stream mapping. The Leveling Production, Line Balance and Kanban System will be used to the problems found in the Kaizen process, in order to finally achieve the Kaizen target of shorten production lead time, improve production line balance and effectiveness and reduce the direct labors.
