| The T workshop of M Company is mainly responsible for the tape processing of baby diapers and its products,the adhesive tape materials for diapers,are offered to Pampers,Mamy Poko,Huggies,Kao and other brands.With the impact of the global market economy in recent years,an increasing number of alternative products appear in the Chinese market,and the bidding advantage between competitors is gradually emerging.The production process is the crucial part of the manufacturing enterprise,which is related to the ultimate quality,delivery time,cost,etc.In order to maintain a sound competitiveness in the severe market,manufacturing companies like M Company need to optimize and improve the production process based on the current economic environment and scientific and technological level.This thesis,with the production line of T workshop of M Company as an example,employs the lean thinking and the value stream mapping analyzing method to improve the production process of the product line of T workshop of M Company.First,through analyzing both the status of the products and problems existed in the production line of T workshop of M Company,this thesis draws the current state value stream map based on the actual collected data.Second,starting from the eight wastes in lean production and combining with the value stream mapping analyzing method,this thesis finds out the non-value-added information flow,selects opportunities for improvement in the production process,and draws the future state value stream map.Third,this thesis puts forward a scheme of improving and optimizing the production process against these opportunities for improvement,so as to help M Company achieve the goal of lean production,such as eliminating more hidden wastes,reducing the labor cost in production,shortening the delivery cycle as well as improving production efficiency and product quality,making M Company maintain its leadership in the industrial competition in the global market. |
