Research On The Implementation Of DMS'VMI Scheme For Inventory Management

Basing on the company of DMS,this article takes the implementation of Vendor Inventory Management scheme as its main part,using the theory of inventory management and core enterprise competition,consulting the research and the application about both in home and abroad,analyzing the main problems face to DMS before implement the scheme of VMI.This thesis put forward the scheme of Inventory Management implementation by four steps,and explores a road to implement VMI on enterprises.This indicates that facing the status of customers' changeable requirement and profit constringency,we should set up the management transformation from interior and enforce inventory management,which can reduce the communication,accelerate the response speed,decrease the stock-in-trade,increase the efficiency,improve the financial index and meet the clients'demand.To raise the profit is the objective and help the company to go through economic crisis in the end.This topic analyzes and appraises the scheme from five aspects,which are ideology transform,operations,quality objectives,personnel efficiency and financial index.By this, we have got the success and short side of enforcement the scheme,and then advocated some improved suggestions.Through the research on this topic,I hope we can accumulate experience from the transform,which could be helpful to inventory management to D Group's other branch companies and give reference to the similar enterprises.
