Study On The Economic Evaluation Of The Urban Land-using

This thesis,based on related theories and research methods on the efficiency of land utilization at home and abroad,defines the concept and connotation of urban land utilization in the broad sense;chooses data envelopment analysis to appraise the efficiency of land utilization through comparatively analyzing the present analytic technique of that.The study of the efficiency of land utilization starts from the efficiency of input and output,confines the efficiency of land utilization to production efficiency, and do empirical analysis on the efficiency of land utilization of twelve Chinese cities in five successive years with the C~2R model of data envelopment analysis which is based on the index of three aspects-land,capital and labor force.At first,it compares the efficiency of land utilization of twelve cities in the east,center or west in the same year, and analyses the regional differences of those cities' efficiency of land utilization;then reviews the changes of each city's efficiency of land utilization in the five years.From the former analysis,it is found that there is a distinct regional difference of the efficiency of land utilization:a big differences between the western and eastern cities and a higher efficiency the central cities.Seen from the latter analysis,it is clear that the efficiency of land utilization is closely related with the policy inclination.Through the vertically and horizontally comparative analysis on the efficiency of land utilization of geography-typical cities,it helps have a good knowledge of resources utilization condition of cities in different regions;benefits our government to formulate and regulate related policies,optimize allocation of resources and improve the efficiency of land utilization.At the same time,it is helpful for us to further understand the problems in the process of urban development and pointedly enhance investment environment and improve the efficiency of resources utilization.
