Research On The Development And Construction Of Modern Urban Agriculture In Xi'an

Urban agriculture emerges with the rapid industrialization and urbanization,which is one of the inevitable products when the city reaches a sufficient economic level.It is a new agriculture centralizes product,life and ecological function.The urban agriculture is modern agriculture trend,and gradually becomes the research hotspot of agricultural economy.As the capital city of Shanxi province,Xi'an has the objective requirements of developing urban agriculture and is endowed with corresponding basic conditions and obvious advantages.For adapting to development trend of modern agriculture,developing urban agriculture can not only provide for city residents with fresh and quality farm products and beautiful eco-environments.At the same time,it benefits to break urban and rural duality economical structure,realizing the integration and common prosperous of urban and rural economics.What is more,through bring the technologies demonstration,radiation actions into full, which has important significance to realization of Xi'an agriculture modernization.The thesis was composed on the background of constructing harmonious society and new socialist countryside,the guidelines were relevant theories in the subjects of Western economics,regional economics,Management and statistics. Analysis method of combination of system analysis,comparative analysis,diagrammatic analysis,induction, deduction,normative and positive,qualitative and quantitative are employed comprehensively.The thesis made an in-depth and systematic research on the development strategy on Xi'an urban agriculture.Firstly,through searching a large number of domestic and foreign literatures,this paper analyzes and summarizes the urban agriculture meaning,basic feature,function and theoretical basis.Also,reviews and analyzes the development process of urban agriculture in the main developed countries and some large cities of our country,sums up the main development modes and try to provide a reference for the development of Xi'an urban agriculture.Secondly,the author utilizes the SWOT strategic analysis framework to systematically analyze the strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats for developing urban agriculture.It concludes that Xi'an not only has a advantage in science and technology,personnel,location and environment and resources,but also has a good polity environment,strong economic strength,excellent geographical location and good technicalsupport as external conditions.In addition,this paper also analyzes the weaknesses and threats for developing urban agriculture in Xi'an city,such as,land reserve,water supply,thequality of employees, investment in agriculture and the level of industrialization.This paper has finally put forward some countermeasures depending on making analysis of the problems of Xi'an urban agriculture and learning from the typical experiences in developing urban agriculture from those at home and abroad,which are covering,to work out the special development planning of Xi'an modern urban agriculture,and establishing and prfecting relevant laws and regulations of urban agriculture;to put an effort to protect agricultural land and farmland;to cultivate urban agriculture market system,improving the efficiency of the circulation of agricultural products;to innovate the investment and financing mechanisms of urban agriculture and let the diversation of investment come ture;to speed up the agricultural information construction,improving the agricultural information service system;to establish and improve the quality standards and monitoring system of farm products;to establish and develop the agricultural service system,boosting agriculture to specialization;to actively promote the industrialization of agriculture,supporting and fostering modern agricultural enterprises;to attach importance to cultivate various types of qualified personnel for urban agriculture,and improve the overall quality of them.
