The Analysis Of Urban Agriculture Construction With Urumqi

The new concept of urban agriculture,as a reflection of the traditional agriculturaldevelopment,has been received widely recognition around the world. On the basis ofcountryside resources,it emphasizes the joint contribution from the secondary and tertiaryindustries during the production and circulation processes,and takes full advantages of themulti-functions from the manufacture,living and ecological environment. Currently,there aresome problems occur during the development of Urumqi,one major issue is the imbalanceddevelopment of the primary,secondary and the tertiary industries,especially the lagged level ofmodern agricultural development,the unrecognized important position of the agro-ecologyand their full social functions. Therefore,from an overall strategic perspective of harmoniousdevelopment of city and countryside,industry and agriculture,man and nature,and based on thecurrent new situations that requiring the strengthening work of agriculture and countryside,theenhanced construction of our new socialist countryside,it becomes very necessary and urgentto accelerate the urban agriculture development,to promote the transition of agriculturedevelopment from tradition to modern,from suburb to urban.To find out development problems of urban agriculture that the propotion of traditionalhigh consumption and low efficiency is large;and regional characteristic is not obvious,thisstudy analysed the strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats of urumqi urban agricultureusing SWOT analysis. We proposed that the position of urban agriculture developmentcombining with internal source and extenal environment. After intensive research andinvestigation,weplaned the suburbs,suburban,and southern mountain three developmentregions of urban agriculture to improve its development direction. Taking positive law,wescreened the structural adjustment direction of urban agriculture,and promotes to form thefunctional complementation and positive interaction agricultural industrial system. On thebasis of urban agriculture research achievements in China and abroad,weproposed countermeasure and suggestion from six aspects to accelerate the urban agriculturedevelopment of Urumqi,namely"conbining the urban and rural development,leading industrybigger and stronger,improving the interior competitiveness of the agriculture",which providesfurther information for decision and reference for urbanagriculture development of Urumqi inthe future.
