The Research On The Selection And Evaluation Of Enterprise Equipment Maintenance Outsourcing Service Providers

In today's intensively competitive market environment, it is really hard for an enterprise to possess an omni-directional resource advantage. Blind pursuit of"large and all-inclusive"or"small and all-inclusive"management can hardly retain and foster enterprises'core competitiveness. Outsourcing, as a revolution of management pattern, is developing rapidly. Equipment maintenance outsourcing provides an effective way for enterprises to lower their costs for equipment maintenance, simplify their mechanisms for maintenance and improve their equipment managing level, so as to strengthen their competitiveness. With the rapid development of business outsourcing, equipment maintenance outsourcing, as a specific form of the former, has also gained great development. However, according to the literature consultation, present theoretical researches on equipment maintenance outsourcing are quite few, and evaluations of the service providers are also rare. Therefore this thesis has great theoretical and practical significance in this field.Based on the review of literature, the thesis conducts an analysis on relevant theories of outsourcing and characteristics of enterprise equipment maintenance outsourcing, and explains the influencing factors and existing risks of enterprise equipment maintenance outsourcing.Through summaries of relevant literature and preliminary interviews, the thesis acquires a preliminary index system for the evaluation of equipment maintenance outsourcing service providers. Then, it conducts a series of intensive interviews to experts in the field of equipment maintenance outsourcing. Based on two rounds of questionnaires, after the analysis of central tendency and variation coefficient, correlation analysis and continuous consultation and feedback, it sifts through the indexes and constructs a index system for the selection of enterprise equipment maintenance outsourcing service providers, which concerns five aspects, namely service capacity, service quality, service cost, service safety, as well as outer fame and inner management.Finally, according to the analytic hierarchy process (AHP),it determines the weight of each index by Matlab 7.0, tests the rationality of their weights through the sensitivity analysis, and then integrates several experts'weights to get the final weight of each index. It determines the membership degree of each index by using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method based on the triangular fuzzy function. In reference to the index system and evaluation model got in this thesis, it conducts an empirical analysis on the equipment maintenance outsourcing service providers of Pianqiao Hydropower Station of Sichuan Jiulong Hydropower Development Co., Ltd..The result verifies the rationality of this index system and the validity of this evaluation model.
