A Study On The Performance Evaluation Of Engineering Project Team

As one of the three pillars of enterprises development in the future, project management has been a cause of concern more and more. The manufacture and operation of enterprise will use the project-based development model more in the 21st century. And the team and project management combine to deal with the complex works has achieved good result. So the study on the project team has been a hot topic in Management research. However, the research of project management and project team in China lacked apparently and far behind the advanced level of international. It also limits the project management of enterprise, and impact on the level of project operation of China.This dissertation focus on the engineering project, research how to make a reasonable evaluation to the performance of engineering project team. In this paper, based on the study of international and domestic literature of the research, follow the current progress of the studies, found there is also some insufficient in the current study. So we reference and amendment current performance evaluation system of project team, and strictly used the performance evaluation processes of normal project, relate the characters of engineer project, established a system of project performance evaluation applicable for the engineering project of China. We used it on engineering project, and get a good result.Firstly this dissertation makes a brief introduction to the current research and the innovative points of the paper, and then we introduce the fundamental knowledge of project team and performance management of project. The third, fourth and fifth part of this dissertation is the core content. In the third part, we combine the characteristics of engineering project, and make full use of the tradition methods, the ways and the systems of performance evaluations of project, established a system of engineering project team performance evaluations, and make a detailed introduction about the function and operation methods of each part. In the forth part, we established an index system of project team performance evaluation apply for engineering project of China. The fifth part is about Empirical Study, we used the system of engineering project team performance evaluation in actual project, and achieved a satisfactory result; verify that the system we established is applicable to the actual needs of engineering project management works.
