Research On Optimization Of The Spatial Organization Structure Of SMEs In The Yangtze Delta Area

As the most dynamic economic entities,small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have been playing very important role in economic development of the Yangtze Delta Area.However,under the new and changed situation,the global economic recession caused by the U.S.sub-loan crisis led to reduced exports.And for domestic market,the tight monetary policy,rising for raw materials and labor costs,and revaluation of RMB,made SMEs facing unprecedented difficulties for surviving and developing.So how to get rid of plight and how to survive under these serious situations for SMEs have been the general concern of community.This paper studies the problem of the optimization of SMEs' spatial organization structure in Yangtze Delta Area from the point of view of enterprise geography.And this will not only make SMEs distribute rationally to enhance their competitiveness,but also have great significance in upgrading the industrial structure and promoting the integration process of the Yangtze Delta Area.This paper includes five main parts:The first part(ChapterⅠandⅡ) is the introduction and theoretical analysis.It includes background,meaning,contents, method,domestic and foreign research,and relevant theories.The second part(ChapterⅢ) analyzes the development trend of foreign SMEs and summarizes their useful experiences in the course of expansion.The third part(ChapterⅣand ChapterⅤ) studies the history and present situation of SMEs in the Yangtze Delta Area.ChapterⅣmainly researches on the growth process of SMEs' spatial organization and evolution rules and characteristics of SMEs organization structure. It shows three growth stages that the spatial organization of SMEs have experienced are simple,rapid development and inter-district,grouping,clustering.On the basis of above-mentioned study,ChapterⅤchiefly analyzes and sums up the dominating types of SMEs' spatial organization structure,and their characteristics and problems. And also,it figures out that the spatial organization structure of SMEs in the Yangtze Delta Area mainly includes three patterns at present:expanding one,cooperating one and cluster network one.The fourth part(ChapterⅥ) researches on the improving measures.The last part(ChapterⅦ) sums up the key ideas and conclusions,and points out shortcoming of the paper and the need for further research.
