As human society entered the era of knowledge-based economy, people-management ideas had been to bring up, and the quality of work and life(QWL) movement as an ideological system that has emerged in this ideological system. The QWL for the organization is a process that allows the organization at all levels of the members of the organizations actively involved in creating the environment, shape the pattern of organization, the organization produced results. This basic process is based on two twin objectives: to improve organizational efficiency and improve the quality of life in the work of employees. The QWL activities combined the individual development and organization development, and it has changed previous focus on human resources development and management which only attaches great importance to the organization but neglects the individual or emphasizes the individuals but ignores organization.In today's increasingly fierce market competition, organizational performance is an important indicator that estimate an organization operating well or not well, and organizational performance directly determines the level of the organization in the market for survival and development. In the era of knowledge economy, knowledge workers as knowledge of the carrier, is the core of business competence owners, to improve the level of QWL will help them to fully mobilize the enthusiasm and creativity in the hope of creating rich profits. As a result, the correlation in the text between QWL and the organization performance for human resources management practice to improve the QWL of employees, enhance the performance of the organization to provide inspiration and some advices.This research aims at discuss relevant relations between the QWL of knowledge workers and Organization Performance in China. Understanding degree of influence to the QWL of knowledge workers and Organization Performance,the investment of QWL by organization. Finally,according to the result of the positive research, propose suggestions to improve the kowlegeworkers'QWL and the organization performance,offer certain guidance for real work.In order to test the rationality and validity of the theory,this study establishes a model which includes the QWL,Organization Performance, the investment of QWL by organization. Then use the data got in questionnaire investigation in some enterprises to examine this model.This study have drawn lessons from relevant research results both at home and abroad and worked out a questionnaire named" the relevant relations of kownlegdeworker's QWL and Organization Performance ",get 167 samples in the area as Shanghai, Beijing,Shenzhen,Chengdu,etc. Use the proving factor analysis, route to analyze and return to the analytical method to certificate the views in this research.Analyzed through the real example, the conclusion got in this research is as follows:Suppose"every dimension of QWL is relevant to every dimension of Organizational performance"have fully proved. The high level of QWL will improve the organizational performance. Suppose"every dimension of the investment of QWL by organizaiton is relevant to every dimension of Organizational Performance"have fully proved. The investment of QWL has good advantage for organizational performance. So,two parts that the core supposes are proved:There are remarkable relevant relations in QWL and Organizational Performance,there are remarkable relevant relations between the investment of QWL and Organizational Performance. And then has proved the core supposes. Remarkable relevant relations exist to the QWL, the investment of QWL,Organizational Performance.This innovates of this research as follows: First, Design of the domestic knowledge staff's QWL Evaluation Scale, providing how to measure the QWL situation of the internal state of knowledge workers;Second,this study establishes a theoretical model which includes the QWL,Organization Performance;Third,this study used empirical research methods to explore the correlation between knowledge staff's QWL and organizational performance.That provided a new way of thinking and measures how to improve the knowledgeworkers'QWL and the organization Performance.Finally,because of the limitations of relevant conditions, there is certain limitation in this research. The limitations of the study are discussed and suggestions for future research are offered at the last part of this text.
