Learning organization provides a new model for organization development due to its ability of continuous learning and innovation and improves the core competency of enterprises. Therefore, it is one of the most popular topics in the field of human resource development and management. This paper takes enterprises in China as research objects to discover the dimensions of learning organization and takes enterprise performance as a variable to discover learning organization's influence upon enterprise performance. This paper aims to provide enterprises with theoretical guidance and measurement instrument for learning organization construction, as well as enterprises can improve performance management and promote the level of performance according to the conclusions of this paper.The learning organization theory of Watkins and Marsick is the theory basis of this paper. The scale is revised from Dimensions of Learning Organization Questionnaire (DLOQ) designed by Watkins and Marsick through exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability test and validity test. A four-dimension model is discovered, including learning system, organizational culture, self-management team and strategic leadership. Enterprise performance is chosen as a variable to show the learning organization's influence on enterprises from one aspect. A scale is modified from 12-item questionnaire of Yang according to Balanced Score Card (BSC) by exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory analysis, reliability test and validity test to measure the level of enterprise performance from four aspects of market & clients, internal operation, learning & improvement, financial performance. It is the first time to do analysis and tests for the enterprise performance questionnaire in the studies on learning organization.The research data is collected from the enterprises in Shenyang and Dalian through survey, which collects 277 valid samples. The study conducts correlation analysis and regression analysis with these samples. The results show that learning organization and enterprise performance are significantly correlated. It is concluded that which dimensions of learning organization influence the level of enterprise performance. The conclusions are that learning system has positive influence on all four aspects of enterprise performance, organizational culture has positive influence on the dimension of learning and improvement and strategic leadership has positive influence on all four dimensions of enterprise performance.
