| At the stage of our country's economic development, industrial development is still the most leading and the most important driving force and an integral part in city economic developing. The key of Industrial development and its structure optimizing is correctly choosing and fostering the leading industries. Nanjing industrial development has a long history and unique features, but nowadays the industrial structure of Nanjing has many defects. Therefore in order to upgrade industrial structure and promote economy faster and better, we must rightly choose and foster suitable industrial leading industries.This paper, taking Nanjing as the example, mainly discusses the intrinsic connection and relation between regional economic development, industrial structure and leading industry. First of all, through the evolution and the trend of industrial structure of Nanjing, and the comparison of Yangtze River Delta cities, we found in recent years Nanjing industry has been in the fourth stage of The Hoffmann Theorem, and still as Heavy-Chemical Industry for the main emphasis, not forwarding into the high degree of processing; In addition, comparing with developed industrial city, Nanjing industry's relative cost-effectiveness is not optimistic, competitive industry is not prominent and the development of high technology industry is not fast. So in order to optimize the industrial structure, we need to correctly select and develop leading industries. This article based on the current situation of Nanjing industrial development, combines the studies of theory and empirical analysis, chooses Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) and creates an index system of leading industry. Combining qualitative analysis, it focuses on the choice and cultivation of industry leading industries.Though Nanjing industrial development has a long history, related researchers are not many and structure studies are less. The study which in order to optimize industrial structure, uses AHP to select and to develop leading industries combining Nanjing advantages, is less and less. Thus using such research ideas and methods to study Nanjing industry, to some degree has some practice innovation; In addition, because this paper does its utmost to select Nanjing industry leading industries and propose Industrial development countermeasures scientifically and objectively, its conclusion of the study has a certain reference value to the process of Nanjing industrialization and economic development. |
