The impetus of studying cost control of EPC projects comes from the Environment Changes of Globe Economy, the Traditional Cost Control Limitation and the Modern Cost Control Concepts.Great changes have been taken place in engineering market due to globe economy continuous development and globe serious economy competition. The engineering construction model and engineering management system gradually step into specialized, scientific and standard rails. Under the situation that the traditional project model was hard to meet the developing market, the EPC project was born at right time to meet the market development and the client requirement. The general cost management is the key point of project management and good cost control indicates good project management.
