Employee engagement which all companies concerned is a critical factor that helps business enterprises achieves success. Therefore more and more companies attach great importance on it. However, author find that domestic studies mainly focus on foreign scale amending, which means making a Chinese employee engagement scale is an emergency.Therefore this paper firstly points out the future direction in this area after giving an exhaustive review of prior literature, including definition structure measurement and mechanism of employee engagement.
