In recent years, the domestic and foreign each big retail companies have set up shops in China, combined with the local supermarket springing up, make consumer supply market competition increasingly fierce. Nowadays with the rapid development of electrical business, the entity retail store sales are impacted. Hundred schools of thought contend in retail market, how to seize the customer's heart, service to win is the key, and the providers of service are crucial factors.Retail industry is a labor-intensive industry. The 80s and 90s main cenozoic era staffs are lack of enthusiasm and refuse to obey the management.They are frequent to job-hopping and show low engagement.The rapid development of labor demand cannot be satisfied. Improve employee engagement is critical for the development of an enterprise, it can lead to improvements in customer satisfaction, improve enterprise competitive advantage, so as to realize the growth of enterprise operating performance.M store is one of a business model,an American retailer W companies operating in China. SM store is one branch of M shop in dalian. Currently there are 12 M shop's branch stores in China. W company plans in the next five years, M shop up to 100 stores in China. A large number of employment gap appears to catch on the existing labor supply market shortage now. The employment status quo is in the face of difficult to recurit workers and high staff turnover.How to stimulate staffs work enthusiasm, play employees' potential and improve employee engagement for enterprise human resources management is definitely a big challenge.Based on SM store as the research background, through the typical case of shop management, used the theory of employee engagement and modern enterprise management, aimed at SM store main management problems to analyze the main reasons for the SM store employee engagement reduction.According to the actual situation of SM store, combined with other retail industry advanced management experience, this paper puts forward the feasible suggestions and countermeasures to solve. At the same time, for SM store employee engagement study, to formulate long-term retail industry in the development of human resources management strategy also has the certain model function.
