A Research Of Geographical Differences About The Economic Modernization Of Village-region In ZheJiang Province

Farmer and farmer organizations are the main-body of important economic activities in agriculture and village-region is the major geographical spaces of economic activities implemented by farmer and farmer organizations. From three decades of reform and opening-up,the development of the village-region economy have made tremendous achievements, especially the economic modernization of village-region in coastal areas acquiring a high degree of enhance. And meanwhile,the gap is gradually widening among village-region economy, non-conforming situation become increasingly prominent in economic development.Zhejiang going at the forefront of reform and opening-up,its developmental situation of village-region economy and geographical differences have representativeness.The research about the different situation of economic modernization among village-regions, reasons producing this difference and the ways solving the situation have reference sense for Zhejiang Province,and even for national.This is also the central idea and main content of this article.The basic aim of this study has three. First, totally assessing and grasping the differences degree of economic modernization among village-regions to provide basal foundation for decision about Comprehensive modernization of the village-regions economy in Zhejiang Province. Second, analysing the formation of the reasons for geographical differences of economic modernization among village-regions to offer developing ideas for the backward village-regions concerning economic modernization of village-region.The third is to investigate the assessment methods and evaluation index system about economic modernization of village-region in order to enrich and strengthen the assessment methods and evaluation system of regional economic modernization.In this study, we have established the core of the theoretical basis based on systematically carding the research results at home and abroad. And then according to the theoretical contents and requirements of measurement about economic modernization of village-region, the thesis has carried out the selection and correction for measurement models of regional economic modernization which have been until now, determined the measurement models used in this study and determined a total of 14 indicators of five categories selected from the many factors that affecting the level of the economic modernization of village-region, used AHP(The Analytic Hierarchy Process) to carry out the importance of sequencing for all of the measure indicators and calculate each weight. This study has been used the measurement model and measurement indicator system of the economic modernization of village-region to do comprehensive assessment to the township as the basic measure unit for the level of the economic modernization of village-region. The results show that there are the different degrees of difference among Regions as well as Counties and Internal counties for the level of the economic modernization of village-region in Zhejiang Province. In addition to the traditional factors-regional differences in resource endowments, further analysis found that the Reasons Lead to above-mentioned differences also included the developmental extent and structure of the internal market players of village-region and patterns of industrial structure.This study formed the following conclusions. First, judging from the distribution about the economic modernization of village-region in Zhejiang, the development of Zhejiang Province is still at a lower stage of development which to a large extent dependent on the primary factors of production as Geographical environment, location conditions,etc. Secondly, the collective economy of the village plays an important role in development of economic modernization of village-region, and weak village collective economy of backward areas has hindered their development. Third, the development of rural industries contributes to development of the economic modernization of village-region and promotes the early realization of economic Transition of village-region. Fourth,there is a large number of hidden rural surplus labor force in backward village-regions.
