The Studies And Strategies For The Development Of The Non-public Enterprises In Zaozhuang City

The whole society has attached great importance to the contribution of non-public ownership economy to national economy and its important role in the development of local economies. In recent years, with the ongoing development of the non-public sector, it has been playing an important part in increasing production, animating markets, enlarging employment and satisfying people's needs in various aspects. How to effectively guide, supervise, regulate and administer the non-public economy development, and ultimately to maintain its growing momentum, has emerged prominent issues on the government's agenda today.Studies on the local business environment for the non-public sector economy, the causality of the slow growth of the sector and its negative impact on the whole local economy development, will consequentially help local authorities and relevant decision making bodies recognize these problems and to take effective measures to resolve them. Any research on the non public sector in Zaozhuang in the view of comparing Zaozhuang with its neighborhood economies within the province, in the aspects of sector growth, sector structure, profitability and sustainability, corporate capital structure and governance, thus bringing forth initiatives, will no doubt produce theoretical significance and practical guidance.This dissertation will attempt to address the issues beginning with analyses of the current development of non-public ownership enterprises in Zaozhuang, identifying and anatomizing existing problems, and exploring the corresponding causes. Subsequently, the study will attempt to discover the rudimentary co-relationship between the growth of non public sector economy and the development of local economy in Zaozhuang, and significance of the former to the latter. This dissertation will also attempt to present solutions that may help safeguard and facilitate the development of non public sector economy in the wake of current global financial crisis. Data collection and analysis will be the main method carried through the study. This will include both the collection of statistics and documents from public domain, and primary data collection through the effort of field visits and interviews with a number of typical non public enterprise owners or managers. In addition, relevant data of other local economies, mainly the neighbor cities of Zaozhuang at similar size in area and economical development, will be also collected and brought into a comparison study.
