Through criticism to capitalist private ownership, Marx summited the communist society is a society without goods, money or market. From the Angle against any form of planned-economy system, western mainstream economists denied the rationality of the combination of public ownership and market economy. The world's first socialist country - Soviet implemented the war-time communist policy at the time it was founded, trying to abolish commodity monetary policy. In the early days when our country founded, socialist Soviet union was the only model of socialism to follow, so our country also chose a highly centralized planned-economic system, cutting off the market as the tail of capitalism. As a result, we really experienced many difficulties in searching the way to combine public ownership and market economy. Now, our country has generally established the framework of socialist market economy. But in the process of combining socialist public ownership with market economy, lots of frictions and collisions occurred. Under the conditions of market economy, productivity has been increased, but the unfairness of wealth distribution is looming larger. The reform of state-owned enterprises is facing many new problems. The market-economic legal system is still imperfect. These problems are to be solved with the development and improvement of Chinese characteristic socialism market economy theory.
