Studies On The Strategy Of Cotton (Gossypium Hirsutum L.) Seed Production And Management In Henan Province

High-quality cotton seed is one of the key factors to impact production of cotton.Therefore,it is very importment to study the strategy of cotton seed production and management in Henan province to improve the quality of cotton seed, to make seed market orderly,to increase production of cotton, and to upgrade the status of Henan province as one of main cotton productive province. So, the strategy of cotton seed production and management in Henan province was put forward after information about regional trial and production trial of new cotton varieties, and about cotton seed production, management and market management in past years was collected, settled and analysed, and literature relating cotton seed was consulted in library and on line,and the suggestion of cotton seed experts was consulted.1. Therefore,this paper put forward the strategy which promote cotton seed management in Henan provinced were as follows: Constitute favourable industry policy which promote seed enterprise development;promote enterprise uniting or incorporating to form great brand taking well-known enterprise as the heart;support science and technology innovation of cotton seed, protect strictly the using right of new variety;intensify the consciousness of cotton seed,carry out the name brand strategy:smooth further the manage system of seed,and then realize fair competition;strengthen supervising and managing on seed market,standardize competition in the market:perfect regional cotton association or cotton farmer cooperation,set up a bridge from cotton farmer to market;consummate seed subsidy means which should be good to well-known enterprise and excellent variety;accelerate constructing information system of cotton seed,realize smoothly and in phase joining from seed production to sale;exert modern market management and trade theory to direct seed management,and then boost up the capability of well-known enterprise and excellent variety to occupy market。3.
