Applied Research On Cost Control Of Hydropower Project

Cost control is an important aspect of hydropower project management. Because of the affection of traditional management mode in planned economy, there is a lack of systematic cost control methodology about the construction of hydropower projects, which leads to so called large money gap, non-profit project and heavy losses problem. Along with the development of clean energy and renewable energy in our country, a large number of hydropower projects are under construction and waiting for construction. So there is in dire need of effective and practical method of cost control for hydropower project in order to improve investment efficiency and economic benefits.In the thesis a systematic and comprehensive introduction of concepts, characteristics and principles of hydropower project cost control have been provided. The main factors impact cost of hydropower projects at various stages, as well as some principle cost control methods have also been introduced. Then the budget method, comparative method and value engineering method etc. are used to solve the const cost control problem of La Zhai hydropower during investment decision-making stage, the design phase and construction phase of cost control. The cost control issue of Na Bang hydropower project construction contracts phase is also solved. Combined with the practice of author over the years in the construction of hydropower project Management practice and experience of a typical hydropower project cost control, and based on the basic principles of project management and the intrinsic discipline of hydropower projects construction, some countermeasures and suggestions are put forward according to the low efficiency, low income of current hydropower project cost control using dynamic control principle, which are useful to control hydropower project's cost at various stages.
