Research On Green Manufacturing Model And Supporting Technologies For Machine Tools Industry

Green Manufacturing (GM) is a mode for sustainable development of manufacturing industry in 21st century. It is a basic method and key approach to settle the resource consumption and environment impact problem, and achieve the source control of entironment deterioration. Machine tools industry is one of the typical industries causing resource consumption, pollution emission and occupational healthy problems. Therefore, it has strategic significance to improve the traditional manufacturing mode in machine tool industry with advanced manufacturing mode, aiming at enhancing the innovation ability, developing energy saving, and emission reduction machine tools, optimizing machine tool manufacturing process, and recycling the used machine tools for resource circulation.With support from the China National Key Project of Scientific and Technical Supporting Programs, the GM requirement analysis of machine tool, GM model for machine tool and supporting technologies for GM model application in machine tool enterprise are studies.Firstly, based on the analysis about the development trend of world machine tool industry and the opportunity & challenge in China's machine tool industry, the necessity to implement GM model in machine tool industry are presented from the machine tool life cycle, including machine tool green design and used machine tool remanufacturing.Secondly, with the green characteristics discussion on the traditional manufacturing model of machine tool industry, a kind of GM model is proposed, which comprised a main line and two systems. In which, the main line is the machine tool life cycle process, and the two systems are the machine tool green design system and the used machine tool remanufacturing system.After then, a strategic framework for GM model application and a GM model implemental route are advanced, and the main supporting technologies for GM model application are also studied, including machine tool life cycle assessment technology based on LCA, program design technology for GM model implementation based on Extension theory, and GM model implementation performance evaluation technology oriented to process.Finally, the GM model is preliminary applied in Chongqing Machine Tool (Group) Co., Ltd, and its validity is verified.
