According to a number of statistical data, we know that the loss ratio of fruits and vegetables highly reaches to 25% to 30% in the circulating process of picking, transporting, storing. Among them, perishable fruits and vegetables in the transportation are to 37,000 tons per year, which can support 200 million people's lives, but the loss rate of fruits and vegetables in the developed countries can be controlled less than 5 percent. Moreover, Shandong province is one of the biggest fruits and vegetables province, which has superior geographical position and traffic conditions, has great potential in developing agricultural logistics. In this paper, on the basis of analyzing logistics process of fruits and vegetables in distribution center, aiming at fruits and vegetables distribution logistics system to build modeling and simulation, finding out the lacking point, also taking specific analysis to put forward some measure to strengthen fruits and vegetables distribution center, such as building supply chain. The most difference for fruits and vegetables between the others is that fruits and vegetables have high request in fresh. So it is very important to reduce distribution time and transit aspect, force preservable measures in the whole distribution logistics process. This article firstly introduces the concept and present status of fruits and vegetables logistics, the concept of system simulation, the procedure of logistics simulation and so on. And then, making use of Witness to build simulation model of fruits and vegetables distribution center, putting forward measures for improvement, formulating optimization program, and then using simulation modeling to examine the feasibility of the proposed program and the applicability of results, from the simulation output to find the deficiencies of the program, to be improved to achieve the desired logistics target.
