Research On Method Of Dynamic Suppliers' Evaluation On The Basis Of Supply Chain

With the further deepening of economic globalization, the competition among enterprises has involved all links in the supply chain. Therefore, enterprises must make use of their suppliers in order to find out suppliers with excellent potential, who can be developed to strategic cooperative partners in a long run. An efficient and proper method of suppliers'performance evaluation not only can reflect actual abilities of suppliers, but also establish the suppliers'confidence in enterprises, which will contribute to the stability of suppliers'team. This thesis has a deep study on the method of suppliers'performance evaluation in manufacturing enterprises with the background of improvement project of suppliers'evaluation work in STW.Knowing the main problems existing in suppliers'performance evaluation in domestic enterprises, the thesis studies the current method used in STW. Through analysis, the thesis summarizes the two main limitations in the current method. One is the weights assignment are not reasonable in the comprehensive evaluation system, the other is the current method is static. After that, the thesis explains the main target of suppliers'performance evaluation is to estimate their future work instead of summary of the past performance, which will provide enough information for future relative decision-making in enterprises. On the basis of above mentioned analysis, this thesis keeps the current elements of supplier's evaluation in STW, and then constructs a dynamic method to evaluate the suppliers'performance based on the principle of Analytic Hierarchy Process and Least Squares procedure with the adjustment of evaluation cycle, which makes up the disadvantages of the original static evaluation system.This thesis uses the dynamic method to evaluate the suppliers'in STW, which outcome is much closer to the actual performance trend of suppliers, and eliminate the effect of subjective understanding. All these will help enterprises to find out potential suppliers, adjust policy, and avoid risks. That proves the evaluation method studies in this paper has a great improve compared with the current one. It also illustrates the method is of value in practical work, which can be referred in perfecting suppliers'evaluation system and technology of supply chain management.
