Present Situation And Countermeasure Of The Agro-Mechanization In Weihai

Agricultural mechanization is the process of arming the agriculture with suitable and advanced agricultural machinery, which intends to improve the condition of agricultural management,the level of technology and the benefit of economy and zoology.Agricultural in China should change the traditional pattern of mainly depending on labor of human beings by transmitting rural labors to other industries. Efforts are focused on improving the productivity, lowering the costs and increasing the added-value of agricultural products. The pace of mechanization should be speeded up. No agricultural mechanization, there would be no agricultural modernization and the modernization of national economy as well. Agricultural modernization is the basis of the implementation of the Four Modernization. So the construction of agricultural modernization must be speeded up.Weihai City lies in the most east of Shandong peninsula, is one of famous harbors and travel cities. The area in Weihai city is 5698km2 with population of 2.5 million. Agriculture and rural economics play key role in the development of nation economy and society of Weihai municipality. The agricultural mechanization has developed rapidly in recent years. This article describes the development status and achievements of Weihai agricultural mechanization, as well as the existing problems; and on the base, developmental strategies of agricultural mechanization of Weihai City have been put forward.In this article, the developmental status of agricultural mechanization at home and abroad, the experiences and existing problem in our country are concluded; the achievements and problem existing of agricultural mechanization in Weihai City are analyzed; the strategies of agricultural mechanization are pointed out at present situation. Our research showed that agricultural mechanization in Weihai City got much achievement. The strategies of allowance for purchasing agricultural machinery were executed successfully; Trans-regional operation of farm machinery made a new breakthrough; the equipment level of agricultural machines increased swiftly; the operation level of agricultural machines improved incessantly; the management benefit of agricultural machines increased obviously; the mechanization level of economic crops improved steeply; agricultural machines managements and training schools construction got good achievements. Meanwhile, some problem was found during the developmental course of agricultural mechanization in Weihai City. Such as, total equipments of agricultural machines were short, and its composition was unreasonable; the level of agricultural mechanization was low and unbalance; Socialization service of agricultural mechanization was not high, and research and educational training were backward; Infrastructure construction and investments should be strengthened fatherly; Management benefit descended because of the added costs, etc.Based on aforesaid problems, some strategies were put forwarded on the agricultural mechanization in Weihai City. First of all, policy support of government must be strengthened to agricultural mechanization development; Secondly, it was necessary to develop agricultural machine industry, and to lay a foundation of the develop of agricultural mechanization; Thirdly, service system construction should be enhanced to form perfect socialization service web; Finally, new educational system must be constructed, and to strengthen international cooperation and communication.Based on the analysis of agricultural mechanization status at home and abroad, this article concluded the agricultural mechanization status in Weihai City, pointed out the factors of limiting agricultural mechanization development, and some suggestions were advised, which was helpful for related department to formulate policy.
