The Model And Efficiency Analysis On A Coal Joint Venture

Well operated coal joint ventures is a very crucial channel in solving energy problems, and achieve China's industrial competitiveness and sustainable development. This dissertation will briefly introduce the existing coal joint ventures model in China, in addition, the more in-depth explorations and researches will be focused on the Yimin model. Through the introductions of production procedures and current status of the Yimin model, it will illustrate the advantages of being the coal based integration. Through the data analysis on the profitability and loss, profit and tax, raw coal production and 12 more annual indexes, the article concludes that, the corporation had been keeping a very good upward trend since 1999, and there had been a steady increase in production level and cost-effectiveness annually. This dissertation will also provide critical evaluations on corporation's economy conditions, the usage of data envelopment analysis model, power generation, and 5 more relevant indexes. In order to demonstrate the relative relationships among corporation's effectiveness data, relative effectiveness money of degree will be defined along with proves. Through a series of calculation, it comes out that this corporation's DEA effectiveness had been increased gradually from 1998 to 2007; moreover, the relative effectiveness had been experiencing a continuing growth as well. Last but not least, analyse the scale and skill effectiveness of the operating efficiency, while the projection analysis and improvement solutions will be applied to ineffective units at the same time. The results of these analyses are consistent with corporation's actual production; they indicate the corporation will continue the upward trend in future. This fully shows the effectiveness of data envelopment analysis in evaluating corporation's operating efficiency.
