China is a country which has more population and limited land resources. The contradiction between man and land is obvious in China. With the economic development, the explosion of population and the increase of industrialization and urbanization, the demand for land resources is increasingly growing, thus, the important issue which is related to human survival and development is how to achieve the coordinated development between land resources use and the development of population. Land consolidation which is an important method in the coordination of relationship between people and land and achieving optimal allocation of land resources plays an increasingly important role in effectively easing the contradiction between people and land and solving problems about land-use. However, the majority of aims of land consolidation are still expanding the number of cultivated land to compensate for the land which are occupied by non-agricultural construction. In order to achieve the dynamic balance of cultivated land, the issue that the number of cultivated land is emphasized to neglect the quality of agricultural land development and land eco-environment security is a very serious problem.Under this background, basing on the study of land consolidation and the content and theory of eco-security, the paper analyzed the relationship between land consolidation and ecological security, and analyzed the characteristics of land consolidation in mountain regions around Sichuan basin and its impact on ecological security .On this basis, with applying the pressure - state - response (PSR) framework model, the ecological security evaluation index series of land consolidation in mountain regions around Sichuan basin were proposed, and the Delphi method was used, finally, the ecological security evaluation system of land consolidation in mountain regions around Sichuan basin was established. With the use of principal component analysis and ArcGIS technology, the state before the land consolidation and state after the land consolidation of projects as Qijia village, Gonghe village and Miaotiao village in Shangli town were analyzed on ecological security. The main conclusions are as follows:(1) According to the characteristics of mountain regions around Sichuan basin , and on the basis of the analysis of the characteristics of land consolidation in mountain regions around Sichuan basin, the impact of land consolidation in mountain regions around Sichuan basin on ecological security in this paper were obtained in this paper, specifically in many aspects such as soil, vegetation, atmospheric environment, water environment, landscape, socio-economic environment etc.(2)The combination of land consolidation in mountain regions around Sichuan basin, and according to the pressure -state-response (PSR) framework model, the ecological security evaluation index series of land consolidation in mountain regions around Sichuan basin were proposed, and the Delphi method was used, finally, the ecological security evaluation system of land consolidation in mountain regions around Sichuan basin was established. This system was divided into three layers, taking the level of ecological security of land consolidation in mountain regions around Sichuan basin as the target layer, and making the criteria layer as 3 indexes and the indicator layer as 21 specific indexes. The level of the ecological security of land consolidation in mountain regions around Sichuan basin were divided 5 levels, such as ideal security, more security, criticality security, insecurity and very insecurity, the standard values of the evaluating levels of all indexes were determined by referring large amounts of data and reference research results.(3) Land consolidation projects such asQijia village, Gonghe village and Miaotiao village in Shangli town were selected, the ecological security evaluation system of land consolidation in mountain regions around Sichuan basin was applied, and principal component analysis and ArcGIS technology were used to carry out a study. The equations of the principal component factors of ecological security evaluation of the state before the land consolidation and state after the land consolidation of projects in Shangli town were established. The score spatial distribution maps of the principal component factors, the map of ecological security evaluation and the map of ecological security levels were obtained.(4) According to the results of ecological security evaluation of land consolidation projects in Shangli town and some problems, the counter measures and suggestions were put forward to promote ecological security of land consolidation.
