Employee engagement is one of the most attracting hotspot in enterprises which influences productivity, profit margin, customer loyalty and employee retain. Also it's an important criterion to judge the efficiency of enterprise managment. To recognize and comprehend the current situation of employee engagement will benefit the enterprises'performance and the rational development and utilization of human resource. In this thesis, we use the method of surveys and interviews to investigate the structure and overall level of the state-owned enterprises' employee engagement, the factors that impact on employee engagement, influences of employee engagement to the employees' behavior. According to the research conclusion, we make corresponding suggestions about how to improve the state-owned enterprises' employee engagement from the aspect of individual, organizational, and social environment.Based on the correlational studies and the data analysis from the questionnaire survey, we get the following conclusions: the state-owned enterprises' employee engagement is divided into 5 parts which are interpersonal concordance, role coordination, dedication, affective commitment and working vigor; the overall employee engagement level is on a comparatively ideal level, also, it describes the social demographic characteristics of the different employee engagement groups; the factors that impact on employee engagement can be analyse from the aspect of individual, organizational and social environment; job satisfaction and organizational commitment are two significant correlational notions to employee engagement; employee engagement exert an influence on the employee behavior, such as turnover intention and work performance.According to the above conclusions, we pertinently put forward suggestions on how to improve the employee engagement: from the aspect of socity, our country should devote greater efforts to employee engagement publicity and intensify the supervision over the state-owned enterprises; from the aspect of enterprises, the enterprises should promote the culture of people oriented and establish the scientific administrative mechanism; from the aspect of individual, the employees should impove their knowledge and skills, also strengthen their sense of mission and sense of pride.
