The period of 2008 is a harder time for Chinese tourism, but it is also the time that the government opens the tourist policy. In the macro-environment combined risks and opportunities, the number of ascribed clients for national website tourism reaches six million, which increases by 33.3% comparing it at the same time of last year; the scale of markets is up to 2.8 billion, which increases by 22.7% comparing it at the same time of last year. So, the website tourism has became the leading part of tourist economy. Among the many website tourist enterprises, the Ctrip Website still takes the first place in the Chinese website tourist markets depending on its good net techno platforms, particular Ctrip service and excellent business development strategy. The problem which the Chinese website tourist enterprises are keen to resolve is how to make the right development strategy and how to keep the core competitive power in the sincere competition and varied market environment. In the view of above-mentioned, this paper takes the Ctrip Website as the example to research the business development strategy, hoping this paper benefits for the people in this line for conference.There are four parts in this paper to analyze and research. According to the analysis of the internal logic and frame, the main contents and relations as follows:Chapter one:this paper researches the development strategy of the Ctrip Website with reference to the business competition theory, strategic management theory and enterprise's core competitive power theory. In view of this, the fist chapter summarizes the findings of Poter's business competition theory, strategic management theory and core competitive power theory, so as to provide theoretical foundation for the enterprise development strategy.Chapter two:it is necessary to see the enterprise's internal and external environmental conditions in order to make a reasonable strategy. After reviewing competitive strategy theory and core competitive power theory, it makes the comprehensive analysis of Ctrip Website's internal and external environment as well as the business competitive situation. Through investigating, collecting and consulting data, analyzing the information and data from the interviews of administrative people, it researches the opportunities and challenges which Ctrip Website faces, identifies the goodness and weakness of its internal environment and provides scientific basis for future development strategy.Chapter three:it makes a research on Ctrip Website's development strategy according to the chapter two, analyzes that the focus strategy, diversity strategy and innovation strategy contribute to improving the enterprise's core competence, which is the main innovative ideas in this paper.Chapter four:it advances the strategic measurements of improving the enterprise's core competitive power.
