The purpose of writing this paper is to offer the method of appraising the competitiveness and to excavate the core competitive power for the enterprises.This text has analysed the shipping market at first, and it has explained the theoretical foundation of the competitive power and the core competitive power too. Those satisfied three characteristics can be regarded as the core competitive power of the enterprise.And then, this text has appraised the shipping enterprises' competitive power with several kinds of methods. Because the core competitive power is hidden in the competitive power, so it should analyse the competitive power of the enterprises first.
