Construction And Application Of Evaluating System Of Coordinative Development Between Urban And Rural

The strategy "balance development between urban and rural (BDBUR)" is important to solve the issues of agriculture, farmer and rural area. The quantitative assessment of "coordinative development between urban and rural (CDBUR)", which is the goal of BDBUR, is becoming an indispensable part. In this paper, on the basis of depth analysis of the connotation of CDBUR, we build the indicator system of CDBUR, and carry empirical research to the coordinative level of our country'CDBUR for 2002-2006. The empirical results show that the coordinative level of our country' CDBUR is improving slowly on the overall trend, and the coordinative level of public services in urban and rural areas improves significantly, the coordinative level of quality of life between urban and rural is in the slow process, but in the coordinative level of economic development between urban and rural the gap is significant. On the basis of the above analysis, we selectively analyze the financial impact and population impact on the coordinative development between urban and rural. Finally, some suggestions and countermeasures are presented to impel the coordinative development between urban and rural.
