To accompany the rapid development of science technology, the human beings have stepped into the era of Internet. The branches of Internet enter almost every corner of the world, especially in the business field. The e-business concept based on Internet technology is updating the marketing mode. Then, how does the new marketing mode influence the Chinese SMEs'(small and medium enterprises) fate? That is the right question which we will discuss in the thesis.This thesis have mainly studied the influence extent to which four key determinants impose to the Chinese SMEs'use of e-marketplace ,and explored some relationships among some determinants. This thesis tested and explained the theory model that constructed in advance through a SEM(structural equation modeling)method.In the literature review part, this thesis defined the concepts of e-marketplace, Chinese SMEs and so on. Also the thesis gave a description to the relationships between e-marketplace and supply chain, e-business. As an important statistical method which is receiving more and more attention, the author introduced the modeling method from the principle , application and the AMOS software.According to lots of foreign researches'studies, the author summarized and brought up the four determinants that influence the SMEs'use of e-marketplace. Some assumptions about the relationships among determinants were given. What is more, the author also summarized and brought up the observable variables for every determinant. Because of the requirement of normality and large sample, the recommended feature of this research is how the author got the needed data.And at last, the author put valid data into SEM software to identify , estimate and assess the model. By virtue of the powerful AMOS software, the author got the quantitative relationship between the performance outcome of Chinese SMEs'use of e-marketplace and the determinants. Thanks to the good quality of the sample data, the results from SEM will have a positive influence on the Chinese SMEs.
