In this paper, the main object of study is the M & A activity of China's automobile enterprises in the process of economic globalization. Mergers and acquisitions as an important means of resource optimization and allocation, it is playing an increasingly important role in economic activities. China is the largest developing country, as China's auto industry how to achieve industrial upgrading and transformation strategy through merging and acquiring enterprises of developed countries is a academic issues worthy of deep discussion, M & A activity of China's automotive enterprises showed many new features and issues, to examine these issues has an important practical significance in promoting the development of China's automobile industry.This essay mainly combined the analysis of HX group's case to solve three problems: First, evaluation and screening of potential target companies; Second, Chinese auto enterprises' strategic motives and choices of M & A; Third, the effective implementation of strategic integration of M & A. When automobile enterprises evaluation and screen potential target companies, it should understand that the aim of automobile M & A is to obtain industrial leading position and technological competence advantage,consequently China's automobile enterprises must firstly research strategy of development deeply and analyse the condition and future of industry fully,basising the research and analysis we can make the strategic decision of cross-border M & A.During the process of M & A, we must not only plan comprehensively and scheme appropriately before practice M & A,accentuate decisive function of strategic formulation,but also pay attention to the flexibility and contingency of strategy integration, we can obtain dynamic renewed core competence through gradually deepening strategy integration which related to every level of enterprise strategy.Seeking enterprise's core competence of China's auto industry through strategic M & A is a work can't be delayed. Automobile enterprise's strategic M & A activity is a complex process, involving a considerable number of professional issues. We should vigorously develop China's auto enterprises to adapt to the M & A strategy, and provide a strategic security for successful application of auto industry's M & A. Only in this way can M & A activity of our auto industry receive the healthy development.
