A Study Of Sustainable Development In The Central Region Based On The Environmental Efficiency

Global resource depletion, food shortages and serious ecological problems, make a wake-up call for humanity and force human to make deep reflection for traditional economic development model. We recognize that the earth's carrying capacity is limited, Nature is not an endless wealth source to draw to, the economic development model of a large number of consumption of natural resources and polluting the environment can no longer sustain. Human beings increasingly aware that we must pursuit the environment and the economy coordinated development, namely sustainable development. Sustainable development means that the maintenance, rational use and enhance the natural resource base, means that development plans and policies must include consideration and concerns of environment"Clearly, sustainable development and environment have a very close relationship.In this paper, based on the concept of sustainable development, using data envelopment analysis (DEA), from the environmental efficiency point, quantitative analyzes and researches the sustainable development of the six provinces in central state, and proposes the corresponding development strategies.Main content includes: Chapter 1 Introduction. Briefly introduces the background of this paper, the domestic and international research, theoretical and practical significance, the main research methods, technology routes and innovations. Chapter 2 is the theoretical basis for the paper. It elaborates the sustainable development and environmental efficiency theory, reviews the background and the definition of sustainable development, the objectives and content of sustainable development, as well as the indicators and evaluation methods of sustainable development; based on the existing research results, the paper gives the definition of environmental efficiency, introduces environment indicators of the Japanese business, and the research significance of the environmental efficiency , this laid a solid foundation for the after t work of this article. Chapter 3 is the empirical analysis of the sustainable development of the six provinces in central state. This chapter establishes the indicators of environmental efficiency, collects large amounts of data, and uses the theory of Chapter 2 set out and the DEA methods, carries out an empirical analysis of the environmental efficiency c of the six provinces in central state. Chapter 4, against the problems and challenges of the environmental efficiency of the central region, according to the results of empirical analysis, brings forward the appropriate policy advice and recommendations.
