Research On The Evolution Of CPC's Important Thoughts Of Economic Development Mode Transform

Over the past 30 years since reform and opening up, the rapid development of our national economy has been paid by the high cost of resource consumption and environment pollution. The traditional economic development mode has not been changed root and branch. The 17th National People's Congress (NPC) of CPC regarded pushing the transform of economic development mode as the key to the accomplishment of the economic future development. Thus it can be seen the particular urgency and importance of the economic development mode transform in recent China.Guided by the Spirit of the 17th NPC of CPC and upholding the Scientific Outlook on Development, this paper, introduced by analyzing the connotation of economic growth mode and economic development mode, highlights the evolution process of CPC's important thoughts of economic development mode transform according to the theory and practice of socialist economic development with Chinese characteristics. Following this logic, the layout of this paper can be divided into four parts as follows. Firstly, Part I gives an exact connotation to the mode transform of economic development by comparing to the mode transform of economic growth; then Part II summarizes the theoretical development of economic growth mode and economic development mode in historical sequence: the classic Marxists' theory, some typical western scholars' theory and some influential Chinese economists' theory; most significantly, Part III systematically summarizes the evolution process of CPC's thoughts of economic development mode transform from economic growth mode on the basis of Chinese socialist economic development theory and practice by dividing it into three stages(I. 1949-1978; II. 1979-2006; HI.2007 to now) with the 3rd Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee and the 17th NPC of the CPC as its turning points. Last but not least, based on the successful experience of some foreign countries' economic development mode transform and in light of the "three transforms" in the report of the 17th NPC of the CPC, Part IV puts forward some useful suggestions on accelerating the mode transform of Chinese economic development currently, so as to make the economy develop sound and fast.
