With the global development of information technology and the emergence of knowledge-based economy, knowledge management has gradually risen to the height of corporate strategic management. At the same time, knowledge has gone beyond the human, financial, material and other production elements to become a strategic business resource. Knowledge absorptive capacity has become a major research focus in the field of knowledge management.First because the knowledge absorptive capacity is an important part of knowledge management theory,on the other hand,in the practice of enterprise knowledge management the knowledge absorptive capacity is a key factor that desides if an enterprises can effectively use knowledge inside and outside of the company in order to develop and maintain the company's long-term competitive advantage. However, as an emerging theory, the present theoretical study is not mature enough, business practices is not up to standard and lack of theoretical guidance. Therefore,it is necessary to make depen study and discussion.The main purpose of this study is to explore the main affecting factors of the enterprise knowledge absorptive capacity, and to measure the effect of the knowledge absorption from the perspective of enterprise innovation, then judge the relevance and influence between the factors and the knowledge absorptive capacity. The research work of this thesis include the following:by studying the existing literature to define the concept of enterprise knowledge absorptive capacity;on the basis of evaluating the results of previous relevant studies to summarize the main factors of the enterprise knowledge absorptive capacity;from the perspective of business innovation to build a correlation hypothetical models between the factors and enterprise knowledge absorptive capacity. The model was revised based on field interview, and made further adjusted.Finally,the conceptual model and the specific measure of each variable were fixed. The questionnaire survey was carried out in the country's 11 provinces and municipalities. Then the variables and the data collected were analyzed by the SPSS 11.5 statistics software to examine the relation hypotheses were supported or not.At last,based on the results give some proposal to improve the enterprise knowledge absorptive capacity,and expect future research.The research work mainly included following aspects:the workers knowledge complementarity, enterprise learning and training mechanisms, communication mechanisms, alliance relationship, information technology and its usage, R & D investment factors have an important effect on enterprise knowledge absorptive capacity;organization structure and enterprise knowledge absorptive capacity are closely related,which showing a horizontal "S"-shaped curves.The main innovations in this paper are the following aspects:using innovation performance to measure the effect of enterprise knowledge absorptive capacity; carring out a reasonable quantization of enterprise knowledge absorptive capacity which is a strong guide to corporate practice. Conducted an integrated exploration study on the current academic research about the factors of enterprise knowledge absorptive capacity. Eriched the research results in the field combining with corporation practice. The empirical research provided a better theoretical guidance for the corporations to better use the external knowledge in order to enhance their competitiveness.
