After 30 years development, the majority of Chinese family businesses have already faced the management bottlenecks, but there are still many family business owners who are reluctant to bring in professional managers, and cooperation between family business owners and professional managers often fails. What factors caused these problems? In this paper, I study it from the perspective of trust. The fundamental reason for the failure of the family business cooperation with the professional managers is that the trust between them is not enough. I try to establish and integrate private trust and institutional trust to promote the cooperation between family business owners and professional managers. On the basis of theoretical analysis, this paper also studies the case of FOTILE Co., Ltd. After analyzing the trust establishment between FOTILE and its professional managers from the perspective of private trust and institutional trust respectively, I summarize the successful experience of cooperation and what to be further improved, for other family businesses'reference.Through theoretical analysis and case studies, this paper puts forward that the family business owner can strengthen trust and promote cooperation through the following measures: firstly, let the professional managers hold shares; secondly, to reduce entrepreneurial veterans and family members; thirdly, to improve the business owners'qualities and ability; fourthly, to build advanced corporate culture; fifthly, to improve corporate management system; and, lastly, to train professional managers in corporation.
