With the rapid economic development of China, logistics industry shows a rapid development trend and plays an important role The logistics industry, as a very important backbone industry, also plays a positive role in promoting the economic to grow, readjusting and optimizing industrial structure, as well as improving economic operation and quality.Beijing is the capital of China, the political and culture center and the large city. Logistics plays a very important role in economic development of Beijing. In this area, Beijing has already built some logistics basic establishment, such as storage facilities and transport facilities. A traffic network includes road, railway, aviation and marine, has already formed. Meanwhile, Beijing has possessed the suitable external and internal environment and broad markets space to developing logistics. Therefore, making certain of the relationship between logistics industry and economics development, and formulating realistic development strategies would make a great contribution to stimulating coordinated logistics industry development and economics development.This article qualitatively analyzes the internal relation between logistics and economics through analyzing and concluding relevant theories. Besides, based on current situation of logistics and economic of Beijing, qualitative and quantitative methods are used to analyze and inspect the relation from three aspects:logistics and overall economic growth, optimization of economic structure and promotion of economic quality. Finally, through constructing the coordinated development model of logistics industry and economic development in Beijing, this article further defines the long-term development trend of the logistics industry on economic in Beijing and gives suggestions from the perspective of the logistics industry.
