The Empirical Study On Allocation Efficiency Of Regional Financial Resource And Its Influencing Factors In China

In recent years, China's rapid development has made considerable progress in financial sector. But we can not ignore the fact that the gap between regions is still large.Performance in the financial sector for the amount of financial resources between regions, the difference between high and low efficiency of resource allocation,Because financial is a special resources that affects regional economic development,evaluating what extent of regional financial resources put into the most appropriate directions through financial system and financial markets is particularly important. A regional financial development and efficiency of resource allocation often closely related to local economic and social environment.We need to find and study the specific factors, Identifying policy direction what can improve the efficiency of the allocation of financial resources.Firstly, this paper references on existing theory and practice, analysis the general theories about financial resources and allocation efficiency of financial resource. Then select the efficiency evaluation method-DEA, using data for the year 2005-2007 to assess the efficiency of financial resource allocation. Measure the efficiency of each area, and provide provinces comparative analysis and regional comparative analysis. Analysis shows that, The allocation efficiency of financial resource in China increased steadily, The eastern provinces are higher than other provinces, the northeast is lower. From China's financial development between different regions, we propose three major factors that affect the allocation efficiency of Regional financial resource:economic development;financial liberalization and financial environment, analysis the general theories about the various factors and study influencing factors with DEA-TOBIT regression model. Lastly, we give some suggestions about improving the allocation efficiency of financial resource:Develop financial policies; Support the financial industry bigger and stronger; Speed up economic reform and Industrial Structure upgrading; Promote the process of financial liberalization; Optimize the financial environment and so on.
