The Study About Agricultural Competitiveness Of Gansu

As the accelerated process of economic globalization and market integration,in particular, after China's accession to WTO,China's agriculture industry is facing a severe test.also has more new opportunities for its development.Therefore,the domestic regional agriculture not only have competitiveness in domestic market,but also have a competitive advantage in the international market.Gansu Province is located in the interior, has a broad geographical,but its ecological environment is fragile,and has a low level of modernization.Gansu province's Agricultural competitiveness in the national rankings on the list.Facing increasingly fierce competition,the agricultural development of Gansu Province should rely on its advantages and resources.If want to enhance the competitiveness of agriculture,Gansu Province must change the organizational structure of traditional agriculture,promote the rationalization of agricultural organizations and develop the characteristic agriculture.In this paper,I sorted out and analysed the status of the theory about domestic and international agricultural competitiveness.Based on reference the results of relevant research of home and abroad,I summed up the meaning of regional agricultural competitiveness.It is a comprehensive capacity,including the ability to adapt to the market, the profitability,the expansion capability,the ability to resist risks and the capacity for sustainable development.There have many factors affect the competitiveness of regional agriculture,such as natural resources,the infrastructure of agriculture, the technological innovation,the scientific and cultural quality of agricultural workers and the government support to agriculture.These factors work together to determine the regional agricultural competitiveness.On this basis,I established the evaluation index system of regional agricultural competitiveness. It contains six primary indicators,such as the competitive of agricultural basis,the competitiveness of agricultural scale,the competitiveness of agricultural efficiency,the competitiveness of the agricultural structure, the competitiveness of agricultural modernization and the competitiveness of agricultural growth. Based on the analysis of multivariate statistical,I proposed the evaluation methods of competitiveness.After the analysis of overview of agricultural development in Gansu Province,basic conditions, constraints and major problems,In accordance with the comprehensive index system, I compared the competitiveness of agriculture in Gansu Province with other parts of the country by using the Principal Component Analysis.The conclusion is that the competitiveness of agriculture in Gansu Province rankings on the list of the national.To enhance the province's agricultural competitiveness,we must adjust the internal structure of agriculture,strengthen the agricultural infrastructure and speed up the process of agricultural modernization.At last,I analysed the vegetable industry of Yuzhong County by using the Porter Diamond Model,and proposed the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
