Since the reform and opening up, China's economy has been rapid development, many companies are faced with not only new survival opportunities but also the more severe challenges. Talent is the essential resource of the success of enterprises. Achieving the maximum effectiveness of human resources, it is the fundamental business to ensure the sustainable development. At present, the remuneration that is closely related to human resources management issues is increasingly attention. It is worthy of serious consideration and study management issues that how to use compensation management to achieve an effective incentive to members of companies.In this paper, we serve Guangzhou NS container terminal companies as an example. First of all, the research background, research significance, the main research content and ideas were expounded, and then a different theoretical perspective, a new form of pay system to pay the management of the related theories are reviewed. The next major study is the development of compensation management under the current situation of pay management status in Guangdong port industry, Guangzhou NS container terminal company. We analyze the problems and causes of compensation management in the Guangzhou NS container terminal company. The current main problems live in three areas:the pay grade-level design, pay programs and performance appraisal. grade-level design positions is too much to cause that single space for staff development, unitary remuneration package and the lack of incentive, performance appraisal becomes a mere formality and so is the key issues, severely affected the company's compensation management and effective operation of the virtuous. To address the above issues, we propose an optimization program for the compensation management in GZ NS container terminal company from three aspects:the structural optimization, compensation plan optimization, performance appraisal methods to employee. Finally, we also give a few suggestions for the operation and management in the Guangzhou NS container terminal company, such as Guangzhou NS container terminal companies has the characteristics of state-owner enterprises, the proposed leadership attention and full participation; officer-based thinking is commonly found in state-owner enterprises, it is recommended with employees to make timely and effective communication.
