Research On Ecological Industrial Model In Oasis Desertification Area

Minqin Oasis is the ecologically vulnerable area in the north of China, which maintains the survival and development of the whole regional economic, as well as is essential to the ecological security for domestic even more coverage. The ecological problems of desertification area in Minqin oasis are all well-known, so there is a time-limited applied topic which is need to urgent solved for related subjects'researchers. The topic is to explore an oasis economic model which can be adapted to local environmental changes, find an approach of industrial structural adjustment could be suitable for oasis desertification area, and to build an ecological industrial model which is scientific and reasonable.Based on the research in progess of ecological industry, this paper adoptes the method of participatory rural appraisal (PRA), which is currently used during rural community working in the world, acquires the accurate first-hand information by Questionnaire Survey, Key-informant interview, villagers representation meetings in local rural communities, also uses second-hand information from annual of statistics, local government and so on, combines the qualitative and quantitative research, analyzes the current situation of local industrial development, and educes that: traditional industrial economics model is unsustainable locally, the new industrial development model-the strategy of participatory development of ecological industrial model which is proposed by the field survey of scientific institutions is suitable for local sustainable development' demands. The new development strategy integrates modern advance technology and local home geography knowledge, which contrastive analysis the benefits between traditional industrial model and ecological industrial model by appling participatory approach, and draws the follow conclusions:First, the economic and overall benefits of ecological industrial model are higher than traditional industrial model. Especially the benefit of eco-agricultural model which is of ecological primary industry is obvious. The product value-added of ecological agricultural model is far from beyond traditional crops and grain planting model, all year-round vegetation coverage is greatly increased, the extracted of underground water has decreased, the water usage structure becomes more reasonable, local community farmers has high satisfactions for ecological industrial model, and the overall efficiency of the model reaches the biggest.Second, the enforcement of ecological industrial model is good for the harmony of local community and the development of county economy. The enforcement of ecological industrial model promotes local industrial structure to toward more reasonable and advanced. Meanwhile, its enforcement conformes to the development aim of domestic macroeconomic industrialization and urbanization currently. And then, its enforcement loweres farmer's labor intensity, magnifies range of ecological compensation, helpes broaden enrichment approach and shorten the difference of community income, and which is of significant meaning for building community harmonious, decreasing the gap among communities and integrating city and countryside.Third, natural resources are fully protected and used. There are rich and unique natural resources in Minqin oasis, which broadenes the profit space for local economic development, increases economic income, and ecological environment got improved greatly.The drawing of above conclusion forcefully proves the promotion feasibility of the participatory development strategy of ecological industrial model locally even similar area.
