Research On Modes Of Comprehensive Control Of Rocky Desertification And Home-gardon Ecological Economy Construction With A Special Reference To Huajiang Demonstration Area

The construction of home-garden ecological economy is one of the effectual measures of the comprehensive control of rocky desertification. It should tally with the ecologically economic treatment and the temporary solution should be combined with permanent cure and tackling of mountains as well as fighting poverty; it should follow the people-oriented guiding ideology, aiming at the development of social economy. The reconstruction and renewal of ecological environment can only be justified by the improvement of people's living standards. The thesis coveres both the exploitation and development of the home-garden economy on the basis of the major national project of the Tenth Five-year in 2000 of Huajiang demonstration area, combining another national project of the Ninth Five-year in 1997 and effects of other ecological treatment. It tends to study both natural and human geography from the perspective of home-garden ecological economy, combing the basic theories from Geologic Science, Karstology, Land science, Ecology, Environmental science, Sociology and Economics.The key issues involved in the thesis are: (1) demonstration of the effective allotment of water sources; (2) exploitation and use of methane and its benefit analysis; (3) modes of methane-based home-garden ecological economy and its benefit analysis; (4)Participatory training of the construction of home-garden ecological economy.Based on the study on the construction of homegarden ecological economy in Huajiang demonstration area, the following conclusions can be reached:①That water issue is the bottleneck of construction of homegarden ecological economy. What the demonstration plot lacks is not resource water, but mainly engineering and management. The study on the demonstration of effective allotment of water resource in Gebei Group suggests that feasible engineering measures and effective management are able enough to solve the problems in man and beast's drinking water and agricultural irrigation water conservation.②Biogas is used for cooking and lighting, and the methane fermentation residues are used as the organic manure. Taking the two alternative energy sources of fuel wood and coal as reference, the thesis did economic appraisal by the cost-efficiency present value approach to the biogas construction of "one biogas pond with improvement of washroom, kitchen and sty", and the result shows that its efficiency-cost ratio is greater than 1:1, the net present value is over...
