Research On Strategies Related With Implementation Of ISO9001 Quality Management System At Small-Size Enterprises

A phenomenon was often found with many small enterprises that a documented ISO9001 system has been certificated but not really implemented in the organization. Meanwhile, small enterprises are still struggling with several quality management problems like lack of clear positioning of quality in the organization. This phenomenon is related with the external environment like the macro-economic environment, the consulting and certification industry, etc., and the internal factor like poor understanding of quality management, lack of availability of resources, etc..Small enterprise are called for taking full use of this chance and focus firstly their effort on appropriate positioning of quality and the competence on quality management, then follow five principles during the implementation of ISO9001 system, 1) make the quality to meet the need from Markets and adapt to the reality of the enterprise; 2) hiring external consultant together with developing internal quality talents; 3) enhancing the study and analysis of real situation to increase the value-added role of ISO9001 related activities and avoid unnecessary wastes;4) mainly focusing on those product quality problems and quality management problems the most important and the most urgent, and developing long-term plan on competence improvement of quality management; 5) via management review, review quality activities associated results, keep eyes on changes would impact, take necessary actions to keep those above principles in place. And can implement the strategies like 1) hiring consultant and making managers move on quality; 2) Carrying on quality requirements deployment, understanding ways quality works, Improving managers'abilities on quality management via training and practicing; 3) improving the competence of quality management with cooperation with big enterprises.
