Research On Development Of Historical City's Tourism

China has over 5000 years'history and culture,where there are many distinctive historical cities. The cities are rich in number, high value and high visibility has a unique advantage and conditions for touring. Historical cities'tourist development has become an irreversible trend, but because of historical tourist resources have characteristics of high value, non-renewable nature, which make the contradictions between the protection of historical cities and tourism development of not easy to reconcile. How to coordinate the contradictions of not easy to reconciled between the protection of historical cities and the tourist development, and promote the sustainable development of historical cities has become an urgent problem to be solved.This thesis summarizes the current status and significance of the research in the development of cities'tourism on the basis of domestic and foreign experts and scholars'studies in historical cities, uses system theory, stakeholder theory, evolutionary economics to research the the historical cities'tourist development. By order of literature, summarizes the emergement, development and classification of the historical cities, and it projects six types of the historical cities: ancient capital, regional domination central, famous landscapes, local culture and national characteristics, modern historical sites, type of special functions on the basis of the previous studies,and describes the importance in the development of historical cities'tourism.Historical city has a long history and profound cultural , It's tourist system is also more complex, includes stakeholders with the government, developers ,local residents and tourists, corresponding also includes environmental factors with economic, social and cultural , natural, geographical location, constitute an open, dynamic development of complex systems. Environmental factors change within the development of historical city , and influence by external environmental factors, internal and external environmental factors interact, interaction, while promoting the stakeholders to take action to fit the chang of the environmental factors ,so facilitate the evolution of the historical city's tourist system, and clear about with the structure of the historical city's tourist system is conducive to the research of the historical city's tourism development. This thesis defines that the historical cities'tourist system is the intersection of city system and tourism system in the city based on the analysis proposed that based on the historical cities'environmental systems (including the natural environment, social environment, economic environment and political environment, etc.) And the research shows that the internal power of the historical city tourism evolution is the stakeholders'travel behavior and their mutual relations, combined with the research for environmental impact factors in historical city's tourism development, built the historical city's tourist system model includes stakeholders'subsystem, environment subsystem and tourist resources subsystem.Historical city's tourist development is a dynamic, complex process, this thesis applies the theory of evolutionary economics,to analysis the evolution mechanisms of the historical city's tourist development. and with the empirical analysis of historical city of Guilin tourist development, confirms that the evolutionary economics theory is applicable with the research on historical city's tourist development.Innovation of this thesis is to use cutting-edge economic theory– evolutional economic theory ,system theory and stakeholders theory to study the evolution mechanism of the historical city's tourist system, proposed the development mechanism of historical city's tourism system include genetic variation ,innovation, choice,and co-evolution, and build a historical city's tourism evolutional model to the research breakthroughs of historical city's tourism development. Pointed out the co-evolution within historical city's tourist system, the city system and the tourism system, designed to coordinate the contradiction between protection and development of historical city, to make a breakthrough in the research of historical city's tourist development.Of course, because of the restriction on my energy, time and funding, there is still severl deficiencies, such as not clear on the bounds of the historical city's tourist system, the use of evolutional theory is not good, and the research on the evolution of the historical city of Guilin tourism was also superficial, still needs further study.Author hope that through the analysis of evolutionary mechanism, the most importance core is afresh establishing image and Promoting tour attraction of historical city in the New一Economic ages.
