A Study On The Community Participation And Sustainable Development Of Ethnic Village

The tourism development of ethnic villages brings great benefit for the economy improvement of ethnic area, population quality enhancement of rural community, solving job problems of surplus rural labor fore. the development of tourism stimulates the economy growth in tourism region; in the course, some problems are brought about. the development of tourism in ethnic area brings some negative impact for the local environment and unique culture. community participation tourism development is one efficient way to improve the residents'income and avoid the negative influence with tourism.Community participation is a substantial character of ethnic village tourism. The core of community participation in tourism development is to make the residents as the main body involved in the whole process of tourism development, promote the economic development of ethnic villages, environmental protection and excellent ethic culture development. At present, the significance of the community participation in has generally recognized, but the researches of community participation in tourism focused on theory study. The dissertation studies the models of ethnic village tourism development based on community participation, taking Dongzhaijiang village and Pingan village as study cases.The dissertation comprises of four chapters, and groups into three parts. The part one is chapter 1, deal with the analyses of research background and conceptions to community. The part two comprises of chapter 2 and 3, analyses and evaluates the community participation. The part three is chapter 4, compares the two villages and gives the machine-process.The first part of the dissertation reviews the research backgrounds, the research progress of community participation in ethnic village tourism development, the research contents and methods.The second part of the dissertation analyzes main stakeholders of Dongzhaijiang and Pingan villages, based on investigations and interviews, and analyzes the actual state in the residents'participation efficiency, participation level and so on about the two villages.Based on the above study, the third part constructs the moderate reasonable participation mechanism, including education system, guarantee system, communication system and consulting system.
