Ever since a long time ago, academic circle have been pay close attention to his military action when he arrived in Guangxi to suppress the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom.But we were lack of research in his economic thought and economic pactice in a long period of time.This dissertation intend through the way of conclude and arrange to expound and analyze his conomic thought and economic pactice in six aspects,which include currency thought,salt administration thought and administer,grain transport by water thought and administer, consolidate river engineering project,consolidate warehouse official,relieve the people in stricken areas.These reaserch could help us to attain more entire recognize for his main economic thought and econommic pactice.It would help us not noly to increase acquaintance for Li Xingyuan,but also recognize the later period of Daoguang Government's actual economic status more fully. This dissertation aims to take Li Xingyuan as a represent, which in order to help us more comprehensive and accurate understanding Daoguang Government's officals entirety thoughts status after The First Opium War.
