Study On The Performance Evaluation Of Food Stocks In Supply Chain Management

In recent years, dramatic changes taking place in the international environment. Human society is entering a post-industrial era and forwarding to the knowledge economy. In this context, enterprises have to consider the form of supply chain operations and eventually dominate the market. Inventory control is not only affecting the comprehensive costs of all nodes in the supply chain enterprises, but also restricts the performance of entire supply chain. However, the core problem is how to evaluate the performance of inventory management in order to achieve effective supply chain inventory management and optimization. Food as the country's strategic reserves, which is national survival and national economic development's fundamental, but now we are faced with the problem that food production rate is slower than population growth rate.Apart from increasing production of food, population control etc, the study of food logistics is also one kind of measures.Therefore, there is important theoretical and practical significance in studying performance evaluation of inventory control under supply chain.Supply Chain Inventory Performance Evaluation is an important part of Supply Chain Performance Evaluation.Researching a large number of domestic and foreign literature, author finds that the literature focused on the choice of indicators and evaluation system's design,less in the specific content of the performance evaluation results and maneuverability of evaluation system.Paper which combines Supply Chain Inventory Performance Evaluation and food is also sparsity.This paper is established in that.The main result of this thesis is studying on performance evaluation index system of food stocks under supply chain. This paper first describes in detail about supply chain inventory theories, food logistics theories, food stocks characteristics in supply chain, performance evaluation system principles of food stocks in supply chain etc. Then,based on learning of study on related theories about performance evaluation of supply chain inventory and food logistics, this paper considers the characteristics of our supply chain inventory, designs a set of Food Supply Chain Inventory Performance Evaluation System. This thesis determines index's purview with AHP, transforms the qualitative analysis into quantitative analysis. Performance evaluation system of food stocks is applied to the case at last.In this paper, performance evaluation system of food stocks is applied to the case with the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods,which shows the maneuverability of constructed performance evaluation system.Performance evaluation index system of food stocks under supply chain in this paper improves performance evaluation system of East Hubei food logistics center to some extent.The result shows inventory management deficiencies in East Hubei food logistics center and provides warrant for improving it.
